The PA1212 is designed to supply power to an IP/Ethernet device, such as IP CCTV, IP camera, WiFi Access Point, or VoIP phone It removes the need for access to AC mains and a plug-top power supply. The unit connects to the PoE enabled Ethernet network via a standard Cat.5 cable and RJ45 connection, and separates the power from the data. Power and data are then presented separately on an RJ45 and a DC connector for connection to the end device.
