Serial to Ethernet Converter, also known as Serial to Ethernet Server or Serial Device Server, which can realize bidirectional transparent transmission between RS232/RS485/RS422 and Ethernet. By way of setting web-page or software, USRIOT Serial to Ethernet Converter can realize serial data and TCP/IP data package transparent transmission.

Features of RS232 to Ethernet Converters
Serial device server monitors the set port and waits for a TCP client connection.
Data from the serial device will transmit to all successfully-connected via serial device server.
TCP client mode
Serial device server will initiate TCP connection to the destination IP address that configured by the user
and serial device server will continuously try to reconnect if establishing TCP connection unsuccessfully.
If the serial device server establishes TCP connection to TCP Server successfully, it can realize
bidirectional data transparent transmission between TCP Server and the serial device.
Serial device server will transmit serial data from serial device to target network device by UDP connection.
Serial device server will listen to port and transmit all received data to serial device.
Supports HTTP Client mode which can transmit serial data to the HTTP server in HTTP format(GET/POST).

Dynamically change baud rate, data bit, check bit and stop bit of serial device server via network command.
Identity packet function
When 302 works as TCP Client, it can send identity packet to TCP server which can be identification.
Identity packet can be IMEI code, ICCID code and user editable identity packet.
Connect serial to ethernet converter TCP232-302 to barrier gate and it can realize remote control of
barrier gate by Ethernet in control center.
