בגלאים ממשפחת ה LFS מיוצרת אלומת לייזר דקה אשר מבצעת סריקת סקטור של 100 מעלות עד 160
מטר. קצב הסריקה הינו עד 16 פעמים בשניה.
השימוש העיקרי במשפחה זו הינו בגדרות למניעת זריקת חפצים וקפיצה מעבר לגדר.
